Janie Busby holds a Bachelor of Science (Psychology and Computer Science), Hons Class I, and a PhD in Cognitive Psychology from the University of Queensland, Australia. Her extensive editing experience includes the editing of university essays, Masters and PhD theses, assignments, proposals and laboratory reports relevant to a range of topics.

Joel Bateman

Joel has a BA (Hons) in Government and a PhD in Political Science.  He has published numerous book reviews, conference papers and other articles on subjects including Australian politics, political theory, leadership and the political use of language.  He has edited a political science journal, and currently works as a Policy Research Officer for the Queensland Government.  In that role, he has written and edited a number of papers on a wide range of topics.

Bio: My education is in foreign languages (French, German, and Russian), linguistics, and teaching, and I’ve taught French, Russian, and English as a Second/Foreign language. I’m from Maryland, but I’ve lived in Malaysia, France, Germany, Russia, West Virginia, and Ohio. I’ve worked for People for the Ethical Treatment of Animals since 1986 as head copy editor and library director. I’ve had dogs all my adult life and currently live in Norfolk, Virginia, with three big and three little dogs.

I have an MA in Economics and Social and Political Science from The University of Cambridge and an MBA from Cranfield School of Management.  I am a Fellow of The Institute of Personnel Development.

I had a 25 year career in human resources management in a variety of service and industrial companies.  Since 1995 I have traded stocks and shares on my own account.

Russ Parsons

I am an environmental psychologist with postdoctoral training in psychophysiology and I regularly review papers for publication in several journals. I am comfortable editing papers from the social and health sciences, as well as material from various land management and design disciplines (architecture, landscape architecture, urban planning, urban forestry, human geography, etc.). I have also had extensive experience editing material written by non-native English speakers.

Will holds a BA (Hons) and PhD in Political Science. In his research he has worked on areas of political philosophy, spatial studies, Asian studies and international relations, writing and editing a variety of papers, essays, journal articles, theses and manuscripts. He has also edited a journal of political science, and edited works on a variety of topics.
